Approval belongs to a product
WRAS assesses plumbing products and materials within its approval scheme. A product listing applies to the specified product and conditions; it is not a blanket accreditation for every fitting made by a brand or for the company installing it. The official approvals directory is the place to check a specific listing.
Select the part for the actual job
A quality repair needs the correct pipe size, material compatibility, pressure and temperature suitability. Leak Seaker uses suitable water-supply fittings and appropriate materials for the application. A familiar brand name alone does not establish that a particular component is right for a particular system.
Installation is part of the quality
The product must be installed in line with its requirements and the system it serves. Preparation, correct connection and suitable support matter alongside the fitting itself. Where a system needs a specialist component, it should be selected for that use rather than forced into a generic repair.
Check the completed repair
Suitable post-repair testing and a clear record help complete the job. Our agreed residential package includes the parts, materials, testing and report, with a one-year workmanship warranty on our work. Product approval supports the choice of component; it is not a promise that no unrelated fault can ever occur.
