Compare the job, not just the first number
Two prices can describe very different services. One may cover a limited survey while another includes opening up and a plumbing repair. Ask what happens after the leak is located, who carries out the repair, whether parts are included and how further time is charged. A useful comparison starts with the written scope.
The Leak Seaker £1,750 residential offer
Our agreed residential package covers investigation, specialist detection, tracing, necessary access or excavation, plumbing repair, parts, materials, appropriate testing and an Written Trace & Access report. The total includes applicable tax. There is no additional hourly surcharge simply because that agreed job takes longer, and all our work within the package has a one-year workmanship warranty.
The deposit is part of the total
Once the scope and appointment have been confirmed, a £100 booking deposit is requested. It is credited against the total, leaving £1,650. An enquiry alone does not book an appointment or create a payment. Read the booking information and confirm any cancellation or rescheduling terms before paying.
Budget separately for the finish
The package does not include decorative and remedial reinstatement: flooring, tiling, plaster, paint, cabinetry, paving, landscaping or building drying. Commercial work is quoted separately. Where an investigation identifies an unrelated problem or a change of scope, the next step should be discussed before additional work is agreed.
How Leak Seaker can help
Our leak detection and plumbing repair starts with the symptoms and relevant history. For an agreed residential job, the £1,750 package includes specialist detection, necessary access, plumbing repair, parts, testing and an Written Trace & Access report, with a one-year workmanship warranty.
Decorative and remedial reinstatement is excluded. Cover and reimbursement depend on your insurer and policy. Commercial instructions are quoted separately.
