Residential price and payment
The total is £1,750 including any applicable tax for the agreed residential job. After the appointment and scope are confirmed, a £100 booking deposit is requested and deducted from the total, leaving £1,650. This website does not take payments.
The package includes investigation, detection, tracing, necessary access or excavation, plumbing repair, parts, materials, appropriate testing and an Written Trace & Access report. There is no extra hourly surcharge solely because the agreed job takes longer.
What is separate
Decorative and remedial reinstatement is excluded. This includes tiles, floor coverings, plaster, painting, cabinetry, paving, landscaping, building drying and other finishing or remedial work. Roofing, unrelated defects and work outside the agreed scope require separate arrangements.
Commercial premises and complex shared-network instructions are assessed and quoted individually. The residential offer is not automatically a price for several properties or a communal building system.
Authority and safe access
An authorised person must agree the scope, testing and any opening. Arrange access to relevant areas, including neighbouring or managed spaces where necessary. Provide known system information, existing reports and any material restrictions before attendance.
Specialist equipment improves the evidence available but cannot promise a completely damage-free investigation, a precise location in every condition or same-day completion. Access may be necessary to confirm and repair the source.
Insurance and reporting
Ask your insurer about authorisation and evidence requirements before work. Our report supports a submission; the insurer decides eligibility, limits, excess and reimbursement. Your payment arrangement is separate from the insurer’s assessment.
Warranty and changes
A one-year workmanship warranty applies to all work we carry out under the agreed scope. Keep the written warranty information and job records. It does not insure unrelated existing components or include excluded reinstatement.
If the investigation changes the scope, discuss the findings and any separate work before authorising it. Confirm cancellation, rescheduling, deposit-refund and final-payment arrangements in writing before paying. Those operational terms must be supplied with the booking; this page is an overview rather than a complete booking contract.
